Omega

1/3 of the Maryland based group M.anifest D.estiny Maurice Manning better known by his stage name Omega The Lost Poet was born December 20, 1989. He developed a love for music at an early age listening to oldies such as Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, and The Ojays with his Grandmother. He is also influenced heavily by late 80's and early 90's rappers. All his father listened to was Tupac, Biggie, DMX, and Bonethugs. As Omega grew older he developed a strong love for Jazz music. Heavily influenced by Coltrane, Ahmad Jamal, and Miles Davis.
Omega started writing around age 10 after his mother suggested it as a way of controlling his anger. What started out as poetry turned quickly into a love for putting words together melodically. Over the years he has developed his style using a concept he calls simplistic-complexity. Definitely a strong up and comer in the DMV area be on the lookout for this guy.
