Biography

Once Guilty is a Christian Rock band from Oxford, Georgia. Our music is composed of both original and cover songs. Our purpose is to glorify God in everything we do. Through our music, we want people to know the reality of Christ in their lives.

With a wide diversity of influences, our unique sound draws from a collection of Contemporary Christian, Southern Rock, Alternative Rock and Blues music genres. Despite the vast array of influences, our music is relevant to all age groups.

We believe our calling as a band is to lead authentic worship locally and nationally. From small churches to outdoor venues, we are available to make the Lord's presence felt in your life and community.

Against The Flow

Written By: Once Guilty

Enter through the narrow gate
Down a road few ever find
Be firm in the truth, stand your ground
In these ever-changing times

He is the one who sets you free

Go against the flow
Break away from the mold
Which road are you on?
Is the path you profess,
The road God sees you on?

Wide is the gate many pass through
An open door that invites us all
Destruction awaits those at the end
Where many stumble and fall

He is the one who sets you free

Go against the flow
Break away from the mold
Which road are you on?

The directions are clear
Which way to turn
Which way to turn
Have faith in the unknown
The directions are clear on
Which way to turn
Which way to turn

Go against the flow
Break away from the mold
Which road are you on?
Is the path you profess,
The road God sees you on?

The Voice I Hear

Written By: Once Guilty

Here it comes again
That familiar voice of doubt
Whispering in my ear
When my guard is down
He silently creeps in
To bring a message composed of fear

A battle rages in my head
I cry out to the only one who
Can make things clear

Now the voice I hear
Is from the one who lives in me
When I said I believe
He made a promise so that I could be
Assured in my heart
His love remains true
After all I’ve done
There is comfort in
The voice I hear

I try not to listen
But I, don’t have the strength
Deceitfully it questions me
An evil tongue that speaks
A serpent on a quest
To hunt me down and not let me flee

A battle rages in my head
I cry out to the only one who
Can make things clear

Now the voice I hear
Is from the one who lives in me
When I said I believe
He made a promise so that I could be
Assured in my heart
His love remains true
After all I’ve done
There is comfort in
The voice I hear

Time Stands Still

Written By: Once Guilty

If you spend a little time with me
I’ll show you, what we could be
I was once everything to you
Looked at in a different point of view

Time stands still
From up above looking down
But I still long each day
To hear from you again
I’ve been waiting all along
With me is where you belong
But I can’t force one against his will
Time stands still

Now and then I cross your mind
But I feel, I’ve been left behind
No longer the focus in your life
A just cause for the internal strife

Time stands still
From up above looking down
But I still long each day
To hear from you again
I’ve been waiting all along
With me is where you belong
But I can’t force one against his will
Time stands still

Not a day exists when I don’t pursue
So much love, if you only knew
I wait for you while I survey
Another child I love walk away

Why do you run?
Why do you hide?
In me you can confide
Why do you run?
Why do you hide?
Allowing us to divide

Time stands still
From up above looking down
But I still long each day
To hear from you again

I’ve been waiting all along
With me is where you belong
But I can’t force one against his will
Time stands still
Time stands still
