Currently playing shows at The Jet Lounge and Meridian, premiere top-of-the-line venue for local Houston bands. Also in the studio finishing demo and starting album.
Only after going through four names, three drummers, two bassists, and a guitar player has Oncoming Traffic found the right blend of chemistry and dedication to begin making big things. Honestly, we strive to be great, and our music stands as practice to what we preach. The Southwest Houston music scene is not the greatest for a band to start out in, and we yearn to break the mold and be something big. More big-name rappers have come out of Houston in 5 years than big-name bands have in 20; we aim to challenge that (and have fun doin' it!). Big fish in a far-too-small pond
