From Montreal, Canada the world's hottest music city right now, ONE AWAY is ready to take on the world. The band began gaining momentum after opening for Bon Jovi at the Montreal Bell Center in December 2005. This gig came about after winning the XM Satellite radio Songwriting competition. Performing for an audience of over 16,000 fans gave the band great exposure and attracted alot of attention from the media. One Away has had numerouse interviews on CTV News, CFCF 12's Entertainment Spotlight, The Montreal Gazette, Radio Energie, CHOM 97.7fm, just to name a few. The band had been creating a buzz in and around Montreal and they are now preparing to release their first independent Album which is due by the end of 2007. This band is determined to rise to the top and eager to share their music with the rest of the world.
