" ..I feel blessed that i found a group of good musicians that could be dedicated to music this much.." ONE BIG PLAIN consist of Daniel Cunningham (18) ,drums, whos drumming style is taken further than just any old regular alternative style. The crack of his snare combined with his tight and technical drum work and intricate beats. Luke perkins(15),bass guitar, who has brought a whole new meaning to bass tapping melodies and funky trunk nasty riffs.. while still keeping his hair wailin'''.... Jon High(16),guitar/leadvox, With his sweet but driving lyrics and vocal phrasing bringing the voice into OBP. Not to mention he also lays down the heavy/psycadelic Rythem guitar tracks. Daniel Grimmett(15),lead guitar/vox, Takes his funky/pshycadelic blues influenced solo melodies but still sticking with a chunky rythem sound and beautiful 2 part guitar harmonies, also he goes freakin nuts and shows and pulls some tricks also.
And newly added member...... Abe Hege(17),Keys/synth/vox/samples, He pulls out flowing piano riffs like you floatin down a waterfall or sumthin, but still keeps it funky with the organ, and if not that throwing in some ambient/psycodelic sound/delay effects with the synth. or even some samples to throw a new element into the mix. We are all confident players and take our work seriously, but still have fun while were doin it. We originated in CHarlotte, NC and eventually grew into charlottes music scene. We have played Famous Venues such as Tremont Music Hall and the Double Door Inn, And opened for such bands as One six conspiracy, Scapegoat, and Left front tire (featured on the American pie soundtrack):. We have also played various out of town shows:. And did great with it:. WE pretty much just like to entertain at our shows, we run trippy light effects and rock out for your viewing pleasure with somewhat bizzare stage presents and suprizes?? As far as Cd's go we have released 2 E.Ps and some singles and they have ALL done very well. We are currently Working on a New FULL length album which will be out around March/April::.
