"ONE DAY LEFT Attack Music"

If Nu-metal died One Day Left is the afterlife!!!! This is a New York/New Jersey band that clearly isn’t happy. In fact, they’re angry. Really angry and they’ll just about jump through the speakers to convince anyone of this.

ODL will force you, by any means necessary, to take notice of them; their crunchy metallic riffs, screamed rap-like vocals, and power bring to mind bands like 24-7 Spyz, Public Enemy, Rage Against the Machine, and Biohazard.

Their four song demo is angsty, political, smart, heavy and demands to be heard. This is not the sort of music you take home to your mother. Because, if she heard this stuff she’d run away, covering her ears mumbling something about kids today.

Of course, ODL would probably give chase, taking their message of oppression, anger, and disenfranchisement to those who need to hear it the most.

The four songs on their demo, “Prophecy,” “Walk Away,” “Public Enemy,” and “Free Speech,” are intelligent messages with the sound of 1000 subway trains colliding. It’s powerful stuff.

One Day Left, might be a little behind in the Nu-metal stakes but with songs as strong as the four on their demo, it seems likely that they will make up the ground they’ve lost very quickly. If not, they’ll just lay waste to the entire genre and declare themselves kings.

"ONE DAY LEFt review"

“This band is a monster waiting to spring out of the shadows to pulverize an unsuspecting industry. One Day Left is a band you don't want to miss.”

Taxi Review Board - “One Day Left is onto something special. I was very impressed by the songs on this demo. Great style and delivery here, guitar lines work well and are memorable.” I feel these guys have great potential; Its powerful and reminds me of a stronger Eminem at times. Based on these songs ONE DAY LEFT has a lot to convey.

The Honest Truth - “A strong blend of Rap and Hardcore-Metal fusion, this band has effectively created a gem that aptly showcases the talents and strengths of their band members. One Day Left makes good use of change ups. Each song is marked by good song writing ability, strong vocals and great harmonies. This is a talented band and is definitely one to watch.”

"ODL review"

- So, yeah Korn did a little messing with the whole rap-metal thing. And then limpbizkit. went to town on it, and completely ruined the name. Well, yeah. Just because a hip-hop mind gets together with heavy guitars providing a soundtrack, that doesn't always make it bad. Enter: One Day Left. The rhymes provided by the vocalists match the fury and rage provided by the predominantly metal guitars. These dudes just sound off. This is a new angle on an old sound, and if you're into that whole thing, definitely head over to this band's myspace site.

"ODL review/write up"

“This is a megacool disc from the local rock-rap staple of all that is right with the NY scene. What sets ODL apart from the rest can be summed up in one word: talent, dedication, killer hooks, great riffs and amazing song writing.” - Bronx Times Reporter

Bio

When ONE DAY LEFT takes the stage people take notice. ODL's intense energy and emotion makes them one of the best live acts out. Metal, Rock and Hardcore infused with real Hip-hop and Rap is a formula often attempted but rarely pulled off until now.
Traz the leader of ONE DAY LEFT has many gifts, not only a powerful lyricist and MC, he moves crowds with hook orientated melodies that stay with the listener far beyond the crowded clubs. And if that's not enough, ODL is blessed with another talented vocalist Kode Blue, who with intense rage and tremendous flow, gets his point across without question.
ODL formed in 2003, meeting through several newspaper ads that were placed as the members searched for a line up that would make a mark on the music scene. Wanting to stay true to all their diverse backgrounds, ODL met and started to write killer tunes combining a mixture of different elements. Pumping out a hard edged sound was no problem for the Metal/Hardcore influenced rhythm section. The Catchiness of ODL’s music stimulates crowd participation at every show. Leaving fans with a MEMERORABLE EXPIERIENCE when seeing ONE DAY LEFT live.
On December 30th 2003 at CBGB's O.D.L. won 1st place at the NYC M.E.A.N.Y. Fest, outplaying over 100 other acts. With 400 people present, CBGB's had a great feel and tremendous vibe throughout the entire evening. ODL, hard at work as usual recorded 4 songs with top producer Matt Hyde, who has worked with Sum41, Hatebreed, Slayer, No Doubt and many others. The sessions produced 4 killer songs and the production of course is top notch! Also in the past year, ODL has been up to the Boston, MA. Area to Record at Blue Jay Recording studios!!! And thanks to Grammy award winner Warren Riker (Fugees, Down, Crowbar & Santana) came away with 2 great songs and a lot of valuable experiences. ODL continues to expand their fan base with local and regional shows, and MYSPACE marketing, with an average viewing number in the hundreds per day. Also a growing ODL Street Team Crew, all across the USA is fast becoming an army!!!
