"One Day Steady in Music Connection Magazine"

A review of One Day Steady's Last EP " We Might Be Crazy" that was distributed across all of North America. - Music Connection Magazine

"15 Cincinnati Artists That You Need To Listen To Right Now"

"From the moment we heard "Break Down," we were in love with this band. Slap Bass and plenty of 90's-esque guitar melodies seem to bring out a sense of nostalgia in us, and we love it, but they have plenty of contemporary appeal for their listeners. They've packed the house at Northside Tavern and other venues recently, and they're about to announce a whole lot of new shows, too. They recently opened for a band on Fountain Square, and their last album, "We Might Be Crazy," was epic. You'll just have to stay tuned to their Facebook page to see where they'll be popping up next. Enough talking, though. Check out this song!" - Impulcity

"Why One Day Steady Is Making Waves In Cincinnati"

Cincinnati's local music scene is one of the best in the country right now, so it's hard for one band to stand out among many, many talented musicians. One Day Steady, however, has managed to turn some heads in an age when mainstream music is all that seems to be relevant. This probably has a lot to do with their catchy vocals and rhythms that you can't help but get into.
That addictive nature just landed them their biggest show yet. Just last month, they got to open up for Smashmouth at UC's Red & Black Bash, and they absolutely killed it. Performing to a crowd of thousands, the up-and-coming band didn't get caught in the spotlight, and managed to perform one of the best shows we've ever had the pleasure of seeing. The crowd interaction was solid, too. This should come as no surprise, though, as the band is comprised of UC Alumni.
With the addition of their new album, Cinematic, they have a collection of music that is both strong and full of catchy tunes. You can check out a few of those songs here. Among their newer songs, our personal favorite is "Unhinged," but we'll always have some love for their classic, "Break Down."
The exciting news just keeps rolling in for One Day Steady, too. The were recently featured on The Project. Not only that, but they just landed a rare, acoustic show with The Ataris. That show will be on October 3rd at the Southgate House, and there are only 100 tickets being sold. You can buy them here. This is one event you won't want to miss. - Impulcity

Bio

"Perfectly at home in heavy rotation on modern AltRock radio, sandwiched between Twenty One Pilots and Cold War Kids"- Mike Breen (City Beat), One Day Steady, an indie-rock band with nostalgic 90’s roots, is on the rise. The group recently played to a crowd of 7,000+ people as they opened for Smash Mouth at The University of Cincinnati’s Red and Black Bash. Other national bands the group has opened for include The Misfits, The Mowgli's, Local H , The Ataris, , and Brick+Mortar. In addition to a feature as 96 Rock’s “Homegrown Artist,” the band is on rotation on 106.3 The Project, 105.9 WNKU and other local stations featuring the songs"Shoot & Run", “Drifting Away,” “Unhinged,” and “Break Break.” They currently released their Junior Album "My Real Problem" in May and have been touring ever since.

Labeled “Cincinnati’s Next Big Band,” by Impulcity.com, One Day Steady grew roots in 2008 when Ryan Peters (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and Tucker Stremming (lead guitar, backup vocals) began writing music together.

The duo was soon joined by Garret Skirvin (drums, backup vocals), a classically-trained percussionist, and Garret Zimmerman (bass, backup vocals), formerly of heavy metal and post-hardcore bands, to form the catchy, unique sound of One Day Steady

Ryan Peters draws inspiration from personal experiences to write hooky songs that everyone can relate to whether it’s about love lost or a friend you just can’t save. In spite of serious subject matter, the group’s undeniable happy energy keeps listeners moving.

Tune into any local Cincinnati radio station and soon enough you’ll hear One Day Steady. After a feature as 96 Rock’s “Homegrown Artist of the Week,” the band has been receiving air play on The Project, 105.9 WNKU and other stations in the tri-state. Receiving the most airwave love is “Break, Break” from ODS’s first album, “We Might Be Crazy,” a fun, drunken singalong and “Drifting Away,” from ODS’s sophomore album,“Cinematic”. Their newest single "Shoot &Run"  showcases a heavier, edgier sound than previous albums and a new chapter for One Day Steady.

A local favorite, the group has performed live on FOX 19’s Cincinnality, Class X Radio 89.9 and University of Cincinnati’s Bearcast show.

With 10 K YouTube views, 2.3K Facebook fans and 3.5K Instagram followers it’s clear the group’s fanbase is listening and spreading the word.
