On-Edge

 Yakima, Washington, USA
BandRockMetal

Heavy hitting and melodic. On-Edge delivers the extreme harshness you'd expect from a metal band with the soft yet dirty tones you get with a rock band. We touch mainstream while staying true to our hardcore roots.

Biography

On-Edge started as a metal/rapcore band out of Naches, Washington in 1998. We have seen many faces and played tons of places. Our lineup has changed a lot through the years but the fundamentals have stayed the same with a few minor tweaks here and there.

Our music has always been inspired by real life situations and ideals that we feel strongly about. The songs that we write touch on various subjects ranging from suicide to pop culture television.

While we generally try to send a message that people can relate to, we also keep a foot, if not both, planted in the ground of hardcore rock. Through the years, the rapcore element has been phased out and a numetal feel has been implemented.

Our influences range from The Offspring to Marilyn Manson and from Metallica to Five Finger Death Punch.

We, like many other bands, have struggled to get to where we are now but the journey is well worth the destination.
