Biography

One Headlight High is a rock band that calls them selves V-Rock or visionary rock because it is hard to put an exact label on thier music. The band is composed of four members that have been in music since a young age. Duston Noland first played piano then began to play drums at the age of eleven. Ethan Piveral started at the age of nine on piano and then learned the trombone. He started out on guitar in junior high then moved to bass shortly after. Garrett Hunkins started piano at the age of nine and later played trumpet. He moved to guitar in junior high. Tyler McIntosh grew up around music with his mom being a chorus and band teacher for a local high school. Tyler started singing at a young age, learned piano and started playing guitar in junior high. All four members graduated from the same high school in Tarkio MO. Tyler was in a few bands during high school, one of which included Duston Noland called Holding Air Hostage. Tyler later on joined the band A No Coast November, which is a very popular band in the area. Ethan, Garrett, and Duston were in a band during high school called Park Street Dreams. recently the four joined to form One Headlight High. The four members grew up listening to classic rock then moved on to bands like Green Day, Blink-182, The Offspring, Bowling for Soup, Atreyu, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sum 41, Goldfinger, and The Ramones to name a few. One Headlight High mixes the sound of bands like Mayday Parade, The Starting Line, All Time Low, Cartel, and Taking Back Sunday. A change of pace
A flip of one coin
is all it takes to change your mind
I couldn't resist all your promises
So I'm filling in your empty words
I've only missed you in just one sense
This lack of attention has always been
And all this pressure keeps me so tense
Relax baby we're so close to the end

I'm breaking down these words and sounds that you make when it's already too late
I'm breaking down these words and sounds that you make when it's already too late

A Changing face
A lack of your choice
is all it takes to waste my time
I couldn't resist all your promises
So I'm filling in your empty words
I've only missed you in just one sence
This lack of attention has always been
And all this pressure keeps me so tense
Relax baby we're so close to the end

I'm breaking down these words and sounds that you make when it's already too late
I'm breaking down these words and sounds that you make when it's already too late

You will never see the way I looked at you the other day
I will never even ask this question
You will never see the way I looked at you the other day
I will never even ask this question

I'm breaking down these words and sounds that you make when it's already too late
I'm breaking down these words and sounds that you make when it's already too late

Mysteries We Love

Written By: One Headlight High

Is it so pathetic that we make a broken record sound good?
It seems so functional compared to how we must look.
We're skipping conversations like the are the plague
Sometimes they are, but we both know you're always right, but

I believe in mysteries we love
The answers lie within the questions that we've both become
And you will see
This mystery lacks of the smiles and the selfless actions that we once called love

You're the needle I'm the vinyl although sometimes you get so sharp
We used to make such music now we just can't find that spark
I'm not saying that we're useless just out dated as we are
We both know I'm always wrong, I'm always wrong because

I believe in mysteries we love
The answers lie within the questions that we've both become
And you will see this mystery lacks of
The smiles and the selfless actions that we once called Love

Tequla is for Sore Losers

Written By: One Headlight High

You said that my efforts are futile
So why should I try for just getting by?
You only miss me in the mornings, if that
And only for the lack of warmth in your bed
I couldn't understand why
I only asked you twice

I'll have a drink or two, but what's that to you?
We have our weak moments, we tear our hearts to pieces
So kick and scream, but what's that to me?
We have our weak moments we tear our hearts to pieces

This is just a message that's timed out
The last of its kind, I meant it this time
I only hurt you for a moment, if that
And only for the lack of everything said
I couldn't understand why
I only tried a thousand times

I'll have a drink or two, but what's that to you?
We have our weak moments, we tear our hearts to pieces
So kick and scream, but what's that to me?
We have our weak moments we tear our hearts to pieces
