One Way Out - A Tribute to the Allman Brothers

The Allman Brothers Band holds a special place in the hearts of the members of One Way Out. Formed in the Summer of 2007 on the front range of Colorado, the band includes former and current members of well-known regional and national acts including The Motet, Phix, Double Parked and Purple Buddha. While all the members continue to play with their respective original projects, One Way Out provides a unique outlet to showcase their collective musical experience to a broader audience -- one that crosses many different genres including rock, blues, jazz and jam. While committing themselves to honoring the integrity of the compositions, the band does not shy away from integrating its own personality into the music, particularly when it comes to the element of improvisation that fans have come to adore and expect from an Allmans show. The band's goal is to capture the ABB energy while exploring new territory when appropriate.
