Bio

One Winter Left hails from Los Angeles, California with a motto to write timeless music. Listening to their music brings to mind a fusion comprised of many genres and talented musicianship. Their style can be very infectious with familiar elements, but consistently pushing the sonic envelope. One Winter Left’s ability to create a unique audio landscape with every song proves their excellent songwriting capacity and inspired, original compositions. Each track gives the listener an odyssey that eludes time and space, and delivers thought evoking melodies, lyrics and rhythm.

One Winter Left is currently working on their first full-length record at Glenwood Place Studios in Burbank, California under the scope of producer/engineer Ian Suddarth. This is a landmark opportunity for inspired creativity within an independent production. The interest generated thus far is well received and proof that a long road to a goal of timeless music is imminent.

Jeb moved to Los Angeles in late 2002 from Maine via Colorado, and was born into a family of painter’s such as N.C. and Andrew Wyeth. Kicking off his music career as a guitar player in New England, Jeb was an active member of the east coast hardcore scene. In Colorado Jeb became fluent in many styles of music, which began his career as a singer and primary songwriter for a number of projects including Orbit Earth and The Delta Blues Project, playing everything from electronica, hardcore/metal, free jazz and delta blues. His talent and creativity cannot be compared to many because of a vast blend of knowledge and influence that escapes common labels.

Go is from Japan and moved to Los Angeles in 2003. He is an accomplished session bass player from Osaka and Tokyo, and has played on many recordings in America as well. At the turn of the century Go played bass with the band Giraffe in Japan, and after his arrival in America, continues to work as a songwriter for various artists and projects in Japan. His bass playing is perfection and musically Go’s wisdom and taste is an integral part of One Winter Left’s songwriting. He and Jeb met in 2004 thru producer Christopher Currell.

Aaron is the son of drummer Sandy Ficca, who is still an active member of the 70’s band Firefall. Aaron who’s from Colorado came to Los Angeles in 2004 with a resume of tours with bands such as Sucker and Djate from the reggae band Culture. Aaron was born to play drums and also boots keyboard programming on the latest One Winter Left material. His feel, power and style are unmatched and were the last missing elements to One Winter Left, when they formed in 2005. The compilation of feeling and style between Aaron and Go as a rhythm section delineates a powerful under-core of a sonic masterpiece.

All these ideas comprise a new depth to the manufacturing and performance of songs. Pleasant in their demeanor as people, and meaningful in they’re approach to music. Catering to fans of intelligent music for listeners of both young and old, One Winter Left yearns to bring people together into a community of artistic experience.
