Once lost was the hope of the youth for music to embrace as the embodiment of their generation, but they continued in their search. On Faith Alone has brought them the revitalization they have sought. Bryan, Luke, Randy, and Ryan are four young men out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania whom hold the equation of melody and energy that has renewed the love of music in the Net Generation, and coerced them to put down the iPods and become part of the scene once more. Though On Faith Alone has been an official unit for under a year, they are five years in the making. Their triumphs and accomplishments already outshine the vast majority of unsigned bands in the Northeast. With nearly 30 years of musical experience between them, despite Luke being the oldest member at only 23, the maturity in the music of their debut EP shines through their youth. However, growth is inherent in their music as they have overcome addictions, line-up changes, and business issues that would have caused other bands to throw in the towel and get a nine-to-five job. On Faith Alone instead funnels these experiences into the creative spark that drives their music; grabbing the attention of venues and in the fall of 2006, Seventh Wave Studio. The private Harrisburg artist development/recording facility noticed their motivation and approached them about recording their first professional production. Producer Jason Rubal (Nothing Records, Sony Records) worked with On Faith Alone for three intense weeks to create the five song Never Forgotten EP which was then mastered by TruTone Studios Joe Lambert (Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Puddle of Mudd). Short Run Records had a deal on the table within 24 hours of On Faith Alone receiving their master, while other record labels also perked up their ears. In 2007, On Faith Alones potential grows exponentially. With the label, new management, a new booking agency, and a growing street team working for them, the boys are getting radio play on college and streaming radio nationwide, opening for artists from Moros Eros(Victory Records), GONNA GET GOT (Evil Recording), The Misfits (Misfits Records), Sick of it All & Dropkick Murphys (both from Hellcat/Epitaph Records), Casket Salesman (formerly A Static Lullaby, Fearless Records), and Morning for the Masses (Emerald Moon Records). They are also in the running for spots on Vans Warped Tour and The Taste of Chaos Tour. In between, they are working on a full-length album, talking to record labels, and of course, hanging out with their fans on the scene. In the beginning, four young men from Harrisburg came together on faith alone that their music would one day be heard by even a small crowd of people. Now, propelled by On Faith Alone, the music of Pennsylvania has come alive once more.
