Biography

On Film was born in a small town in the summer of 2005. After singing in numerous bands of varying genres over the years Michael decided it was time to take creative control of his music.

Since then Michael has collaborated with other musicians many times on record and live in concert. Michael's innovative and creative lyrics combined with his versatile voice are what set On Film apart from other singer-songwriters.

Lyrics

GT Sno Racer

Written By: On Film

You can smell it coming from 300 miles away
From the top of the hill and back down again

You don't have your own so I guess you can ride with me
Just give it a good push and try not to drag your feet

We'll hide under the covers
Pretend we're not awake
All I want for Christmas
Is a yard full of snowflakes

We didn't see it coming 'til 15 yards away
From the top of the hill and clamped down on your leg

We'll get another notice, a step up from a moose
That just feeds on turbans and spray paint
Say goodbye to Samantha's shoes

We'll hide under the covers
Pretend we're not awake
All I want for Christmas
Is a yard full of snowflakes

It's getting dark and I still have to drag you home
The longest walk, my feet crushing the snow
I'll see you soon, skating circles around you
Too many songs, I've written just for you

Cornfield Lover

Written By: On Film

You can't see me over here amongst the amber waves of grain and fear
Curious little boy, so queer
This town ain't big enough for the both of us
This town's not big enough for me and you

We're still out of breath from the chase
We never drink, we hate the taste
You'll never get me back to this place
My daddy's gonna die

Everybody's got shit on me
Your mom went and called the police
I'm innocent I blew the scene
The secretary is never pleased

Word sure travels fast in this place
The tornado took my words and spit 'em in your face
It doesn't matter if I ever state my case, this town already made up its mind

Truth or dare; that wasn't my idea
Now I dare you to tell the truth I'd really like to see you
Ask your dad if it's a good career as the credits roll by

Had it happened yet that summer
We made a bed out of dirt
Lock up your sons and your grandmothers
This summer's gonna hurt

Everybody's got shit on me
Your mom went and called the police
I'm innocent I blew the scene
The secretary is never pleased
