"Only People are a young quartet whose mostly-mellow sound puts me very much in mind of Radiohead, Coldplay, and Jeff Buckley."
"Guitarists Schultz and Daniel Runey bring out a Beatleness in the instrumental aspect of Those Aren't Even Words, especially on acoustic tracks such as '5 Months After (St. Jude).'"

Bio
Only People have drawn heavily on British influence in the creation of their sound. Singer Jonathon Schultz nods to singers Francis Healy (Travis) and Ben Folds, adding a perfect contrast to Danny Runey's melodic, Edge-like guitars. While the British alternative influence is there, the band as a whole holds a great deal of other various musical influences ranging from Jane's Addiction to Jeff Buckley to Wilco. In the Metro-Detroit area, Only People has set themselves apart from the other bands by using their musical knowledge and their love for the songs they play to appeal to all audiences.
