Only Rainyday Rainbow

Going under the pseudonym of Only Rainyday Rainbow, Edward Hancock is influenced by the persona's of David Bowie, combined with the out-there weirdness of acts such as Klaus Nomi, Captain Beefheart, Björk, and Nina Hagen. Only Rainyday Rainbow aims to take the lyrical aspects of artists such as Syd Barrett, Lou Reed, and Nick Cave, and combine them with the fuzzed up tones of garage rock, the melodic playing of Indian sitar music, and the groove of 60’s psychedelia. Bringing concepts together such as human emotion, insanity, cosmic adventuring, death, and rebirth, each performance aims to take the listener on a journey.
