BandR&BJazz

On Que is an exciting and dynamic group of musicians whose love for music drives us to continue the quest for the highest standards in live performance of Contemporary Jazz and R&B music. People say, "Your band really looks like you're having fun!"

Biography

In the early 1980’s, the nucleus of the band (3 members: Eric, Carla and Bevin) formed a 6-piece Contemporary Jazz and Top 40 band, known then as Quadrasonics. We performed in many establishments in the Detroit and Windsor areas, and also performed larger venues such as the African American Jazz Festival at Hart Plaza and the 1986 International Auto Show at Cobo Hall.

As time went on, in the 1990’s, our interest was drawn to composing, arranging, and post-production work. In association with members of the AES (Audio Engineering Society) in New York, we were able to construct a digital studio known as Power4 Sound Productions. One of our projects was post-production work for a TV pilot for an automotive show, “Transport ‘92” for Clinton Demarden Productions.

In 2000, it became clear to us that it would be necessary to have a vehicle for promoting our recording ventures. Hence, the band,
On Que, was formed and performed for many various venues such as summer concerts, wedding receptions, anniversary parties, private parties, etc.
