Somewhere in between 60's pop, jam, punk, and classic rock exists On The Rocks, an up-and-coming youthful quartet that can already boast more achievements than bands 10 years their senior. With an average age of 17, On The Rocks have already played several shows (drawing crowds as large as 120 people), recorded 3 demos, been contacted by record label executives - oh, and they met The Darkness once.
Formed as a punk outfit in 2001 by longtime friends James Giroux and Mohnish Sani, the band quickly changed its direction as its core members expanded their musical horizons. Now, augmented by bassist CJ Haynes-Dale and singer Alik Alfus, they aim to blend together the best aspects of their influences. The results vary greatly and span several genres, but all of them are unmistakably bound together as the work of one band. Almost old enough to drive, On The Rocks has set its sights on world domination - one show at a time.
