"THE FALL review"

"I haven't heard an album this pleasing to the ear in a long time. I will say this up front: On The Surface needs to hold on to their production crew... Based around the powerhouse/smooth harmonies of co-singers Heather Fogarty and Anthony Brodeur, this disc is a highly polished pop rock production with no flaws detectable. I'm no barometer of music marketing, but these songs should be on the radio (and I mean mainstream rock radio, not the charity WFNX slots) NOW. If it's not, well, you may have missed your shot at the big time. I hope not. This group is very talented. To name other bands with similar sounds would be a cruel joke, because the homogenization of the band's sound is just too good. I could say more but I have a word limit."

"On The Surface - album review"

"The Very Best Of Me", "Pulse Pulse", Still As Beautiful" rank in my top 10 list of new hit singles by the Boston band On The Surface. This outfit has a clear, clean, crisp approach which fits in nicely with current modern pop music on the charts today... These 5 mega talented individuals bring an excellence to the genre that is rare in young bands, don't be surprised to see them on tour here in the UK soon."

Bio

On The Surface has been featured all over MTV's hit show, "The Hills", after a year where the band performed on 2008's Summer Vans' Warped Tour as well as Dave Navarro's new television show, "Spread". The band formed in high school in Boston with Anthony and Heather who were dating at the time. They later broke up as a couple and continued on as a band in classic ex-couple rock style. Their musical influences range from Jimmy Eat World and Weezer to Hanson, Silverchair, and Rooney, as well as classic rock bands. They built a strong following in the Boston area and have gathered new fans since relocating to Los Angeles in early 2007. With well over 100,000 friends on myspace, the numbers can't be wrong - become a friend too.
