"Musipedia of Metal Album Review"

"When is comes to rock music these days it’s either hit or miss for me, it’s either sounds too dated and less authentic or too polished and staged but the duo have pulled it out of the bag." - Musipedia of Metal

"Metal Epidemic Album Review"

"It took me a couple of listens to really get into Feed the Monster by Onyria, but once I did, I could not stop playing it. It’s a fantastic album that I would highly recommend to any fans of alternative metal or female fronted metal, as a superb collection of songs that will grow and grow on you. Onyria are a very talented band, with Helena’s vocals just giving them the edge they need to stand out from other similar groups within the genre." - Metal Epidemic

"Devolution Magazine Album Review"

"The 10 tracks that comprise this album come liberally infused with an inherent groove and subsequently Feed The Monster swings like a huge pendulum, yet the esoteric ‘Little Man’ nestles next to the powerful ‘Blind Nation’ and despite their different aesthetics, they make easy bedfellows. Tackling the “difficult second album” with apparent ease, Feed The Monster should propel Italy’s Onyria into the global consciousness." - Devolution Magazine

"Rock Hard Italy Album Review"

"Around her performance we find the new Onyria, a band capable of building sonic textures that are both versatile and very effective: from the silk-like phrasings of Drowning and Little Man to the anger-injected riffing and punch of Price Of Souls and No Obedience. The variety of talent, sounds and sonic palette that the band has at their disposal is keeping up with the expectation, making the listening experience of “Feed The Monster” extremely exciting." - Rock Hard Italy

Bio

The alternative rock project Onyria was born in 2012 when producer/guitarist Simon J. Gillman and singer Elena Pinna joined forces in Italy. Initially gaining recognition through their captivating rock renditions of popular hits, the band quickly found their place in the online music scene.

As the years went by, Onyria's sound underwent a gradual evolution. Moving away from their earlier gothic rock influences, they embraced a rawer and more straightforward style, firmly establishing themselves within the realm of alternative rock. Their current musical aesthetic revolves around genuine alternative rock and post-grunge elements, characterized by a captivating blend of dynamics and variety.

What sets Onyria apart is their lyrical content, which bravely delves into themes of vulnerability and criticism of society. With heartfelt lyrics that expose the human condition, their songs become a mirror reflecting the world around us. This unique approach allows listeners to connect with the band's music on a deeper level.

In 2022, Onyria took a significant step by relocating to France, expanding their horizons and embracing new artistic opportunities.
