Bio
We are from and live in Washington Pa., our drummer (Tj Emph) and singer (Bob McMahon) were in a local band called The Mondays when we started OnzE as a side project in August of 2007. The original plan for OnzE was to write a 4 or 5 tracks, throw down an E.P. and kill the band off. The plan was almost immediately thrown out the window once we got started writing because we just couldn't stop. We decided to add a guitarist to complete our line up of vocals, keyboard, guitar, and drums. Originally, we wanted a friend of Bob's to come play guitar (nick named Skiiimask) for us but he seemed to be the most elusive on days of practices, so Bob's brother, Brian McMahon, with much prodding came out to the garage and started playing. We played our first show in Bob's garage (Bob's House Of Rock) opening for The Mondays (October 19th 2007). Shortly after that, The Mondays broke up and with that, OnzE died too. We were revived in July of 2008 because, one day, Brian was roaming around Bob and Brian's house whistling the keyboard part to one of their songs, that sparked an interest and combined with that, Tj asked Bob if he wanted to start if up again at our friend's graduation party. After that we wrote 8 more songs (July 2008-November 2008), released 2 E.P.'s ("OnzE(p)" [September 2008] and "Demo 2008-2009" [December 2008]), played various venues, created lots of merchandise and recorded a full length album (set for release on March 28th, 2009).
