My name says it all: I look, I listen. It's what I do. Sometimes, when I feel it's worth it, I speak up. New York City is known for a lot of things, but producing truly visionary bands has not always been one of them. This band, however, seems to be the ideal exception to the rule. Open Till Midnight has somehow managed to blend some of today's most popular and infulential sounds (from hip-hop, funk, and R&B, to classic rock, pop, and dare I say, a bit of country) into a seamless, flawless brand of musical experience all its own, with an uncanny ability to be universally enjoyed by all, no matter what genre you tab your foot to the most. Play their album low, and you have a set of songs you can relax to. Play the album loud, and you might end up with 80 people in your house and a party for the ages. New York seems to have finally found its voice in this band, and if this first album of theirs' is any indication, I doubt it will be long before the Nation stays Open Till Midnight as well. - Ears and Eyes

This fraternity of five brothers has a unique style of acoustic rock that has caught the attention of many college crowds and the New York music scene. The soulful voice of Sam Bruce, Ross Deutsch on guitar, and the songwriting talent of Mike Cook is a potent combination that has gotten its due notice. Drawing comparisons to the likes of Ben Harper and a hipper Tom Petty, Open Till Midnight strives to connect with listeners on a fundamental level. Says Bruce, “Music is about human connection, building personal relationships on a massive scale through our most powerful sensory vehicle, the medium of sound.” The band effortlessly incorporates a few genres, namely hip-hop and acoustic rock, for a distinct flavor all their own. New York audiences are coming out for the band’s live shows. Currently, OTM is writing material for future records. The band’s EP “Now It’s Lit” is available on iTunes, CDBaby, Rhapsody and Broadjam.
