Operator Please are an Indie/Fun band from the Gold Coast (ages ranging from 15-17) that formed early in 2005. The adventure began when Elanora High School was holding its annual Battle of the Bands competition. Tired and fed up of watching the ‘cool kids’ conducting a popularity contest, the members of Operator Please decided to venture down to K-Dawg’s office to collect a tres trendy nomination form. After playing to a phenomenal crowd of 15 people and winning a box of doughnuts donated to the school, it was from this point in time a discovery was made. The discovery was that they all worked extremely well together and decided to establish a band permanently. Thus the creation of Operator Please.
