Biography

Oph (pronounced off) was formed in late 1996 by Randy Reed and Andy Burke. Two very different minded musicians with one common goal, to be the loudest rawest band ever. It worked. Oph is not technical. It's not complex. Oph is simple, to the point, and at times, downright overpowering. Gene Newton came on board in 1997 and the trio set out to tear up the Boston music scene. Playing with other up and comers like Godsmack, Oph quickly secured their own niche in the scene. By 1998 Oph was a Headlining act as well as a staple on college radio. After a few years hiatus Oph finally releases their debut album "I told You So" on their own label BML Records. 2006 Oph is back and stronger than ever. An OPH Show is always a good time.
