"Optimystical's Sophomore single is Drenched in Emotion"

Optimystical is a hip-hop and indie rock group made up of Tom Clifton (guitar/bass), Lyle Begiebing (production), Keynan Willis – aka 'NutterTut' (rapper) – CaraN (classically trained pianist and cellist) and Gilbert Orrantia . The multi-talented, genre fusion band are scheduled to release an upcoming EP but in the interim, they gift the listeners with the blues-inspired track off the project titled "Away". Backed by pulsating electric guitars, a mellow bassline, and percussions "Away" is a pure showcase of their unique style. Keynan Willis lead with his emotion-soaked vocals as he sings his pain away over the lush and engulfing backdrop.

"Away" is the second track that adds to the wide range of sounds that can be found on Optimystical's debut EP 'Smile and Wave' which is set to be released in 2 weeks (March 28th). Following a warm reception of the band's debut single, momentum from recent live performances (including opening for national touring act Curren$y), and an official video release, the time is now for Optimystical. "5 Fresh HipHop Singles for Your Weekend Playlist"

This experimental hiphop act brings you “Heaven” right from the PHX. Optimystical combines elements of soul and jazz with hiphop and then sends that sound on the Stream of Consciousness for a free-flowing vibe. I’m definitely digging this new act on the rise. You should take “Heaven” for a spin and then all you locals should make plans to catch the Optimystical experience live ASAP. - Yab Yum Music and Arts

"Optimystical Heaven"

The five-member group Optimystical has released “Heaven,” a new single with flavors of experimental hip-hop, alternative R&B, and indie pop. Frontman Nutter Tut raps over a laid back drum track and dense synths skating back and forth between a buoyant and forewarning atmosphere. Nutter Tut ends his vocal blasting with a punch. “Will you learn to grow / heaven only knows / you grew up too fast / stop and smell a rose.” - blah blah blah science

"Optimystical June"

Optimystical has released “June,” a new tune that’s come out just a few weeks after their debut single. The group is continuing down a road of electronic hip-hop and R&B with the new song, busting out a web of melodic guitar, dreamy vocals, and experimental layering. Close your eyes and take a listen for some smooth, summery genre-bending. - blah blah blah science
