Orange Light consists of four best friends who have known each other since they were 15 (Jake, Blake, and Aaron since 11). The three started this band in an abandoned candle factory they had all to themselves since they were 12 years old. This factory being the foundation for the growth that these boys went through as they reached adulthood. Never fitting in: they tried desperately to be apart of the Oklahoma high school town scene by playing all sports as possible, but never felt accomplished no matter how good they would do. After dropping sports altogether the boys spent much more time alone in this factory, and after long long nights partying to artists like; Modest Mouse, Youth & young manhood, Joy Division, Talking Heads, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, and Al Greene, The boys decided to start Orange Light.
