Orange Willard is rapidly becoming one of Dayton, Ohio’s most popular bands. The band’s powerful sound and thought provoking lyrics have been drawing listeners to their shows since their debut on October 19th, 2002. This band never ceases to amaze audiences and other bands with their musical talent, leaving some individuals to go so far as to describe Orange Willard’s musical performance as “inspirational”.
The band has been compared to Soundgarden and System Of A Down and vocalist Rusty Paquay easily compares to the vocal style of Chris Cornell the vocalist for Soundgarden and Audioslave.
Orange Willard has come a long way since starting out as a nameless two-piece in the summer of 1997, adding three members and replacing their drummer. The band has enjoyed great success in the Dayton area, winning simultaneous Band Competitions, maintaining the number one spot in most played music in the State of Ohio
and the top fifty nationally on MP3.COM for over a year, and being voted Wright State University’s best band in 2003.
The band features Rusty Paquay as lead vocalist, Charley Skira and Tim Ditmer on guitar, Eric Ditmer on bass, and Daniel “Gub” Pedrotti on drums.
