Bio
Organic Flood is a band that is swiftly taking the northwest by storm. Drenched in funk-driven jams, blues, rock, jazz, rivers of hip-hop poets' flow, and the mountain muse, OF is making music for the next dimension with mind-bending lyrics familiar to the soul. They will tour the northwest in this summer of '06 to gather the crowds for a festive romp and share their new album enginereed and co-produced by the cosmically inspired by Oz Fritz. Oz received a Grammy for his work with Tom Waits' album "Mule Variations". Organic Flood's album, "The Source" has "a sound that's finer than snuff and not half as dusty" according to the legendary Utah Phillips. It will be available by July 1st on I-Tunes, CD Baby, and in music stores throughout the North West and beyond.
If you come you will dance!! Picture Hayes on bass with a mohawk, or sweating in a blue wig, or sporting whatever fits his fancy that day, bouncing as he shreds at an intoxifying, rain-pelting speed. On drums, Ben's arms fly with his fills, his rolls spilling like wet thunder, beats shifting tectonics beneath your feet. Seth with a guitar is a sensual magic carpet ride along all liquids from riptides to ripples. Grace Tea thrashes with exactitude, dancing in a torrential outpour of ecstatic energy, spouting fresh lyrics soaked with the feminine. The Mad Chadder beckons you into the ocean of impossible notions, chanting his rhymes with a grin, sharin' sips of soul tea. Ready to rock out hard with the Flood?
