Hector Zazou

Strange rock, neo classical compositions, world music (from Africa to Central Asia), string quartets, pieces for wind instruments, voices or synthesizers, Hector Zazou had a surprise waiting with each new record, showing his passion for the most unexpected mixes. From the album “Les Nouvelles Polyphonies Corses” (1991) till “Quadri+Chromies” (2006), the list of the musicians and singers who have worked with him is amazing : Jon Hassell, Manu Di Bango, Ryuichi Sakamoto, John Cale, Caroline Lavelle, David Sylvian, Khaled, Lisa Gerrard, Suzanne Vega, Bjork, Peter Gabriel, Brian Eno, Peter Buck, Jane Birkin, Lisa Germano, Laurie Anderson but also Asia Argento and Gerard Depardieu. Hector Zazou was a member of Slow Music (with Bill Rieflin, Peter Buck, Robert Fripp, Matt Chamberlain and Fred Chalanor). His album with Katie Jane Garside called “Corps Electriques” was released in 2007. “In the House of Mirrors” (2008) featuring uzbek and indian musicians plus many guests, was his last Cd before “Oriental Night Fever”.

Barbara Eramo

Barbara Eramo was born in Taranto and lives between Rome and Paris. With Claudio Passavanti she partecipated in Youth Section of Festival of Sanremo with the song "Senza Confini" won the Critics Award, AFI Award and the "Flying Award" for the best performance of the festival assigned by Michael Nyman. Ivan Lins appeared as special guest in her album "Oro e ruggine".
In 1999 she started to work with Luis Bacalov and in the same year she began to performer with Pivio and Aldo De Scalzi, authors of many famous italian soundtracks like "El Alamein" by Enzo Monteleone; "If I were you" with Silvio Orlando; "Per sempre" with Francesca Neri and Giancarlo Giannini; "Letters from the Sahara" by Vittorio Della Seta . In 2002 she sings with Mike Manieri.
She became solist voice of Oscar Award Nicola Piovani concerts. She released “Marea cu Sarea” cd along with Piccola Banda Ikona and in 2008 as soloist her last cd “In Trasparenza”, written along with Alessio Bonomo, Diana Tejera and Fausto Mesolella.

Stefano Saletti

Musician and composer who plays traditional mediterranean instruments (bouzuki, oud, mandola), guitars, piano, percussion, electronics. He is the founder and band leader of Novalia and the Piccola Banda Ikona. He is also the musical director of 7SóisOrkestra, a Mediterranean orchestra. He released two Cds with Piccola Banda Ikona: "Marea cu sarea" (2008) and “Stari Most” (2005) written in Sabir, an old language of the Mediterranean sea. As a composer he has also worked on film soundtracks, dance, theatre, poetry and television. For the theatre he has worked with Giancarlo Giannini, Predrag Matvejevic, Pamela Villoresi, Omero Antonutti and many others. He composed the soundtrack for the film "Sotto la Luna" by Franco Bernini (Rai 2), and the song "Ebla", the theme tune for the international tv program "Mediterraneo". He composed a suite in five movements based on "Le bateau Ivre" by Arthur Rimbaud, read by Jean-Louis Trintignant. He also wrote music performed with the Tunisian poet Monchef Ghachem. He also played with Alexander Balanescu, Eyal Sela, Jamal Ouassini, Margarida Guerreiro.
