“Origami Wings” for today is one of the most recognised, interesting rock-bands at Uzbekistan.
Origami Wings have been formed in March, 2000, by the Japanese language philologist and rock musician Ashot Danielyan. Since the beginning the melodious pop-rock, executed in manner of 60-70s, became the band trademark.
In whole, Origami Wings keeps to multi-stylistics, experimenting in such directions as indie-pop, rock ballad, dance-rock.
As a result of the first ceremony of rewarding for the achievements in rock music of Uzbekistan “IOSIS FEST AWARDS 2009” Origami Wings became conqueror in the nomination “Best pop-rock band”.
At the moment Origami Wings completed the work on the debut album, participates practically in all rock events holding at Tashkent city and is working on material for new album.
