We have come to your time from a somewhat distant future in order to study this turning point in human history: the End of America. We’re not tourists; rather we arrive as dissidents from our own time - here to prevent ourselves, such as we are, from occuring.
As it turns out, all of the worry in science fiction over inadvertent pollution of the timeline has proven itself overblown. The timeline is a depressingly resilient thing. History marches on. Yet still there is hope in the small actions of many, persistently wearing away the stumbling stone of historical inevitability. So have faith, ancestors, have faith!
