Bio
Original Melody released its debut album, Fantastic Four,
in April 2006 and followed their first release by securing
airplay on various radio stations and playing a number of
gigs around the Reykjavik area. The crew consists of
Fonetik Simbol, the producer and dj of the group, and
three emcees -- Immo, Shape, and S.Cro. Original Melody set to
release their sophomore album this year and plan on taking
2010 by blizzard. Recently, O.M. has been creating a buzz
to promote their new album and the crew has had songs
featured on some popular Icelandic t.v. shows and in one
Icelandic movie. Original Melody aims to create quality
Hip-Hop music that is down to earth and steers clear of
any materialistic overtones.
For example, Original Melody have performed last three years on the Iceland Airwaves festival.
