Songs can take one of two paths, they either entertain or relay a message, either way they should have the ability to take the listenener on a journey. Son of Man's songs have this ability. Falling somewhere between Tracy Chapman, Bob Marley, Nasio Fontaine and Joan Armatrading the songs are heart felt, descriptive and relay it's emotions to the listener in piercing detail, the shimmering vabrato in his voice sounds somewhat like the coming of the evening tide, very warm, emotive.
