ORPH

In autumn 2008 the band ORPH was formed. With a mixture of Americana, Indie LO-FI Pop and Wave
elements the musicians had found a foundation immediately. After a brief period different concerts followed,
inter alia on the FUSION FESTIVAL and the band functioned with an East German cult band called
SANDOW as their supporting act. The music label and the Recording Studios of RAPE OF HARMONIES
became aware and produced their first promotion EP “Poems for Kui”.
The producer team, consisting of Z.A.P. (HARRY COLTELLO, SANDOW, MUTTER) and RALF
MUELLER (HEAVEN SHALL BURN, FALL OF SERENITIY) developed a sound with ORPH that reflect
their extravagance and which pervades the broadly varied hearing habits of listeners. The three band
members operated with several projects on stages, festivals, theatre productions even up to performing in
Paris night clubs.
