"And, before I signed off this week, I wanted to take just a moment to give a new local band a shout-out. The band "Orphan Nation" brought such a big energy to such a tiny space when I stopped by Gaslight Gardens this past Saturday. I was out with a few friends and had no idea that the Gardens had a gig. In fact, it was raining quite heavily.
But, that didn't seem to phase them. Once they took the stage, they transformed the little bar into an outright party. The vocals on the lead guy (I never caught his name) were to die for. Think Daughtry meets like a John Mayer type.
Keep an eye out for them, loves.
