Lyrics

1.- My son

Written By: Abdessadak Chekara

My dear son
Don’t’ leave your country; you are part of it
Sweet Catalonia
Country of my heart
Every time you leave,
it dies from longing.
So you’ve migrated from your country, you shouldn’t have.
Leaving behind the people you love, neighbors…
Beautiful valley, cradle of my childhood
River banks and rivers, shelter in the sky

God, Merciful

Written By: Tradicional Egypte

God, Merciful
My God, I pray for your mercy, that reaches all
For your strength, that conquers everything,
And to which all surrenders.
Next to Him, everything becomes small
for your omnipotence, which dominates everything
for your power, to which nothing compares
for your immensity, that touches everything
for your power, that stands above all
for your image, that remains after all else vanishes
for your names, that shape the pillars of our existence
for your knowledge, that embraces everything
for your inner light, that illuminates all
Light, Holy One, First and Last
God, Merciful

Palestine’s call

Written By: Mounir Mouhammad Ali Almasiri

I have heart and ears. Have you seen my countries?
People loose things but I’ve lost direction.
Palestine calls me and the second mosque’s cry
and the child from Aqsa’s Mosque and the widow’s loving heart
and a beautiful bride who on her wedding night made the headlines in her shroud
The heavens are crying, despite Coran and the guide
For Sabra and for Chatila, for the dishonored women.
And for Bosnia Herzegovina, rivers of blood fill up its valleys.
The stars of truth
are lost and crying “where is my God?”

No to sadness

Written By: Mounir Muhammad Ali Almasiri

No sadness, no
No violence, no
No death, no
No wars, no
Al•lah, Al•lah, Al•lah, Al•lah
My heart calls you, Al•lah
My soul calls you, Al•lah
Protect us; give us strength, save us from harm
Al•lah, Al•lah, Al•lah, Al•lah
Yes to love, yes
Yes to peace, yes
Yes Al•lah, yes

Shalom

Written By: Tradicional Israel

We don’t want the slaughter of innocents, it’s not right.
For a few unjust ones, we suffer injustice
We have always been peaceful people and we will always be
This is Our Lord’s wish and the essence of Islam.
