Or’rick Ewing
Not being a stranger to the stage, Or’rick Ewing is a bass player powerhouse. With a funky background with jazz mixed in, he is one of those performers that will leave you wanting more. Or’rick’s talent has blessed him to play with the likes of P-Funk, Aretha Franklin, Smokey Robinson, and The Mighty Clouds of Joy; (which earn him a Grammy Nomination) as a member of the group. Or’rick has also shared the stage with The O’Jays, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Gap Band just to name a few. Recently he has joined the “Wayman Tisdale Band”, after Wayman lost his battle with cancer, the band wanted to continue in Wayman’s honor; “for having no rehearsals, Or’rick did a hell of a job” says John Baker (Wayman’s road manager). Or’rick is Destin to keep Wayman’s music alive with the help of Wayman’s band members; Tom Braxton, Mark Harper, Arthur Thomson, Braylon Lacy and Eric Willis. This is one musical power team and a must see performance, with all the funk that you want and the jazz, and the energy, you could not ask for anything more.
