ORSINO NATION are genre-mashing rebels on a sonic journey toward transcendence. Gothic synths, piano and guitar-driven melodies & unique, image-laden lyrics make for powerful, emotional music.
ORSINO NATION's influences are highly eclectic & our music genre-jumps even within a single song. From flamenco rhythms to deranged-carnival music, 3-part harmonies on the piano to thrash guitars, acoustic folk to trip-hop to straight-up rock.
By turns dramatic and fey, frontwoman Yasmine Amber is every bit the rockstar with passionate vocals & inspired outbursts of flamenco dance. Paul Hilton (Charger to his friends) is a classically-trained virtuoso pianist with a Viking sensibility. The combination means avant-garde music with a distinctive Orsino Nation style.
Live Orsino Nation are now joined by Owen Gillett on electric guitar, Wally on drums and Iliana providing backing vocals for those beautiful harmonies. This means Orsino Nation's sensory overload can now be experienced to its full intensity live.
