Bio
A changed name equals a start from scratch, not just with the music but life in general. Former rapper “Chroome” became “Osirus”, with nearly 10 years in the rap-game with the name “Chroome”. It was time for a change, he decided to start something new. This has really brought out the deepest feelings out of him ( Osirus Quote - “ I’ve never been this personal in my music, I’m a shock the fans & the industry ” )
So he isolated himself for nearly a year in the studio just trying to figure out what the next step was. Through out that year he felt like he went into a Rehab, dealing with his own personal and private issues, at that time the pen & the pad, the beats & his love for music was few of those things that he still appreciated in life. That was when the idea of naming he’s next up-coming studio album “Rehab” came in play.
He didn’t just rehab from life, but also from the music, including the music industry. ( Osirus Quote - “ It felt like the whole Rap-game went too “Pop” in Sweden there for a second. It all just looked so bad to me. Rappers be claiming they hard & personal, but when you really put focus on ’em, you can clearly see that that’s just some bulls*** ” ).
That is why Osirus goes the opposite way of what the mainstream does. When it’s “Mainstream/Pop/Bling Bling music” Osirus comes out with that dark, deep & adult music. Rehab, is an album packed with 20 songs which makes a lot of sense about life in general. Osirus is taking you through a journey throughout his darkest moments in life.
( Osirus Quote - “ If this album doesn’t make you think twice about thing’s, I’m sorry to say but, than you’ve failed to recognize what really matters these days ”).
