Osmotic plays live soul music, reminiscent of the
soul sounds of the 60’s and 70’s infused with
hip-hop/r & b rhythms of today. The band has a unique
concept, to deliver accessible soul grooves to the new
generation. Their live shows leave many audiences in
a daze wondering what they just saw as they mop the
sweat from themselves. Anita Byers, who enhances the
audience with her captivating voice and stage
presence, leads the talented group of musicians.
Osmotic are Anita Byers(Vocals,) Ariel Vegodsky
(Keyboards), Zack Hurr (guitar,) Chandler Dandridge
(Bass Keys,) and Austin Dandridge (Drums.) The stage
setup is unique unto any other bands, with both
keyboards facing each other, and the other
instrumentalists placed in the center. Band members
have been known to play different instruments on stage
as well as triggering effects and samples all in real
time.

By incorporating elements of soul, funk, hip-hop, r &
b, reggae, and rock, Osmotic are revolutionizing and
paying homage to soul music like Marvin Gaye, Stevie
Wonder, and Aretha Franklin. The audience is very
receptive to the sound and creates a ferocious energy,
which feeds Osmotic’s inspiration. Using the
simplicity of soul and a complex & unique musical
vision, Osmotic are creating something entirely new.
