Bio
I have 15 years of playing under my fingers. In the begining, learning everything I could from the classic rock era. (Led Zepplin, the Doors, Queen, etc...) Moving on to the BLues inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Robert Johnson Jimi Hendrix. I took what I learned from those players and mixed it with the guitar virtuosities of Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Michael Hedges, and Al Dimeola.
After a year long sabbatical, I began studies in classical guitar. Studying works by Barrios, Brouwer, Tarrega, Villa- Lobos. My passion was found in the Brazilian music of Samba, Bossa Nova, Pagoge, just to name a few. I spent on summer in Porto Alegre, Brazil to learn first hand the Brazilian technic. Now, I use everything I have learned, fusing it with a continual study of any guitar music that speaks to me, to form a style full of inspired improvisation.
