Oui Ja Yes are an live electronics band who play heart racing music with a psychedelic tinge. Originally all from Glastonbury England – home of the International Music Festival of the same name - they consist of two brothers – Sean and Kevin McGough – and their school friend Oli Miller.
All born and raised on the festival their influences are predominantly based on bands they first saw or heard at the festival itself. Such as: The Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Justice, Crystal Castles, Does it Offend You Yes, Velvet Underground, Holy Fuck, The Prodigy, The Stooges and many more. Their music mixes these influences to create genuine club-style dance music with spontaneous live instrumentation in a new and unique way.
A fresh up and coming band they have already received airplay by the BBC and have also been booked to appear at major summer festivals including Glastonbury Festival 2011 and Glade 2011.
