"Iman Review"

• "Oui Si Only You is one of those unique bands that has a strong foundation but is beyond categorizing into a single genre. They are able to seamlessly combine stories and images through music and lyrics with a smooth, exciting style of delivery. Definitely far from your average band and Hip Hop artist, look for Oui Si Only You to take contemporary music to levels higher than we have currently imagined!" "Chicago Idependent Music Review"

"Oui Si Only You is not nu metal, they don’t deserve any comparisons to Limp Bizkit, Korn, or any other late 90’s Q101 bands. What they do sound like is a Sigur Ros inspired, less hardcore Linkin Park. Ben Muniz’s flow is similar in style to Mike Shinoda’s, but still many differences exist. Their guitars run the gamut from acoustic to angsty, emo, distortion ridden punk to reverb laden Pink Floyd ish chords (Off to Stall). They have no problem with politically driven lyrics, but in doing so, they are asking for comparisons to POD and Rage Against the Machine. What OSOY lacks in all of their songs, and it may be a stylistic choice on their part, is a noticable hook in the tunes. Aside from the sound, this is their major zag against the zig of typical rap rock." - Chicago Idependent Music Review

Bio

Comprised of Benjamin “Pez,” Muniz III on vocals, Ramsey Ghunim on guitar, and Adam Ginsburg on drums, Chicago area band Oui Si Only You (pronounced "We See Only You") has been driven by an eagerness to create innovative music and connect with audiences from all walks of life. Their sound contains traces of elements of Hard Rock, Hip Hop, and Psychedelia while being heavy on dynamics and lyrical interplay. “It’s not so much an attempt to reinvent the musical wheel, rather, to spin it in a different direction.” a common phrase OSOY goes by. Imagine a dense, eerie wall of sound created by an effects laden guitar, combined with street savvy/danceable drumming, topped off by poetic lyrics with a delivery that has a raw swagger and confidence all its own.
