Bio

Oum is the first part of Oum el Ghat, which means Mother of relief, and that was formerly given to the young girls that were born in the desert during a rainy day or night.

Her personality, talent and commitment shine on her native land. Her deep voice and her songs are a mirror of her fantastic cultural heritage, building bridges between soul, jazz, gnaouas and hassani rhythms in which her Sahraouian origins echo.

Soul of Morrocco, is full of these influences and lets you discover another side of the Moroccan musical creativity through 9 songs full of energy and delicacy.
