With poetic lyrics and intricate instrumentation Our Feathered Embers create an atmosphere comparable to the mellow sounds of John Martyn's infamous 60's Les Cousin performances, weaved together with the grainy balm of those early Iron and Wine recordings. With an EP on the horizon, 2012 looks like a big year for the duo.
