Our Little Problem is Michael Bembenek (drums, vocals), Michael McKinstry (guitar, vocals), Jim Collier (lead guitar) and Mike Stever (bass, vocals).
The band started as a few ideas in the studio when Michael B. and Michael M. got “inspired” to write and record 5 originals in one evening and early morning session. The Michaels then used the original songs as bait to recruit James and eventually the third Michael to complete the line-up.
The songs include catchy hooks and lyrics. You won’t find many love songs here. Some of the music might even be described as a bit dark but always you’ll hear tunes that talk about real (and unreal) life situations as well as interesting experiences and people.
Influenced include (but are not limited to) Syd Barrett, Chuck Berry, Velvet Underground, Pink Floyd, Bowie, Gabriel and on and on…
The band has evolved a great, high-energy live sound which includes their trademark “dual lead-vocal” delivery courtesy of Michael B. and Michael M.
OLP is guaranteed to please young and old music lovers and would love to build up the live and recorded listening fan base throughout the Web and at live venues.
