“Explosive Icelandic four-piece, “Our lives” plan to inject a fresh sound into the world of 21st Century music……………

‘Our Lives’ are young, happening and now. Hailing from Reykjavik, Iceland, their music has been described as a dramatic, powerful crossover of styles, with moody undercurrents, ‘old school’ guitars, harmonious soothing vocals, soaring melodies and emotional choruses all fused together to provide a sound that’s as epic as their Icelandic landscape. In the past two years ‘Our Lives’ have developed their musical approach to reflect the people they are today. “This is how the world sounds to us. This makes sense to us. We’ve come along way in a short amount of time, but in that time we have grown both as people and as musicians and that’s how we see our lives growing. People follow what they know, rather than what they believe in. There are a few things that we know and one of them is that we change what we want to change. Having said that…. this is what we believe in”. ‘Our Lives’ have been together as a band for almost two years now and have endured many changes during that time. Finally settling on style and direction they’ve now found their place in music. They now have a hectic schedule planned both playing as many shows as they can and continuing to develop as musicians and as a band. These are our lives …… It’s up to us to make a difference.
