Our Sky is Falling

Why do you go to concerts? Do you go for the music or for the live performance? When you ask a person this question, they usually reply by choosing one or the other, but why shouldn’t these two go hand-in-hand? Why do we, the concertgoers, have to choose between music and performance? We formed this band in hopes that you never have to choose again. I can promise you that we are nowhere close to perfect in any sense of the word, but I can tell you that we love writing music and we love performing to the best of our ability. We love what we do and we want to share our music with you. We are Our Sky is Falling and we are an experimental, post-hardcore band from the suburbs of Oklahoma City. We love dinosaurs, bubble machines, handstands, mustaches, candle-lit dinners and spooning. We have been playing loud, angry music and making fools of ourselves onstage for your enjoyment since February of 2009 and have shared the stage with many bands including Parkway Drive, Fear Before (The March of Flames), MyChildren MyBride, Senses Fail, Gwen Stacey, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and PM Today. Most importantly though, we believe that you are loved no matter who you are and what you have done and we want to be your friend.
