Bio

Jim Eaton’s reputation was formed over 15 years ago at age fifteen, when he first began performing on the stages of Kansas City. He convinced family members and neighbors to drive him to the open mics in a variety of venues and a career was born. At the age of fifteen, he stood six foot four with a deep voice and handsome charisma. By the time he was sixteen, he had wheels, a band and a following of all ages.
Jim Eaton has lived in Colorado, New Orleans, and Nashville, after being born and raised in the Northlands of Kansas City. Now traveling across the country, the Whiskey Benders have played festivals, concerts, private events, as well as the beloved honky-tonks along the way. While in Nashville, they performed for the Grand Ole’ Opry Plaza Parties, as well as the famous venues on lower Broadway.
Outlaw Jim and the Whiskey Benders have opened concerts for many country music singers and songwriters, such as Aaron Tippin, John Michael Montgomery, Blake Shelton, Josh Gracin, Carolina Rain, Billy Joe Shaver, Chuck Mead (of BR549), Craig Morgan, Sammy Kershaw, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Chris Cagle, James Otto and most recently opening for David Allan Coe, plus many other up and coming artists. They also opened Y’allapalooza in Kansas City.
Fans across the country have jammed to their blend of soul, folk, funk, bluegrass, rock, and outlaw country sounds. With two albums under their belts, they have people singing and dancing in the aisles. Event planners and club owners agree—Outlaw Jim and the Whiskey Benders make every event a success!
