Bio

Oval Window has dedicated themselves to giving their music 100% both on and off stage.

Formed in 2001 with Original members Brad Cain(Lead Vocals/Guitar), Phil Leblanc(Bass/Vocals), Sandy Goodine(Drums), and Andrew Wilcox(Lead Guitar), Oval Window quickly established themselves as a premier act in the New Brunswick music scene. Drawing from their own originals, and cover songs, Oval Window always made sure that the crowd was never dissapointed.

Their first full length album entitled "Circling the Drain" was received with much acclaim, with their debut track "I've been Waiting" getting regular rotation on Fredericton's 105.3 The Fox. They suddenly found themselves opening for such great canadian acts such as Edwin, and Smeer.

In the Fall of 2003 Guitarist Andrew Wilcox was replaced by then Slyde guitarist James Morrison. And with this change, came a change in the bands sound..

In Early 2004, Oval Window was selected for the Budweiser "True Music" Program, in which you would receive free music downloads with a case of Budweiser Beer. This program allowed Oval Window to reach a far broader audience then they ever had in the past receiving radio play from many stations as a result.

In 2005 Oval Window's next radio single "In my Wake" was very well received , and cracked the Top 50 of 2005 on Frederictons 105.3 The Fox. Their schedule was filling up, and even found themselves performing with comedians John Dunsworth, and Pat Roach, better known as Jim Lahey, and Randy from Showcase's hit show "The Trailerpark Boys"

However in early 2006 Oval Window decided it was best to go on Hiatus. Taking the time to rest, and pursue other interests. Thankfully the break was short lived, and in late 2006 Oval Window was again working on new songs, and their stage show.

Their latest show took place on November 11th at Nicky Zee's in Fredericton, to a sold out crowd, and it became clear that no obstacle could stand in the way of this band.

Oval Window is currently working on their much anticipated follow up effort to Circling the Drain, scheduled for release early 2008.
