OverExertion

Over-Exertion, one of the craziest rock bands out of the Metro Detroit area, released thier debut album entitled Over-Exertion in 2004. They are entering the studio again to record their second album which is going to shake the stations acrossed america. The music video for convert(directed, filmed, and editted by Josh Hooper) was only the beginning of a series of videos that will be released in 2005. Thier original songs represent the untamed personalities of each member and capture the raw 90's sound as well as the energy of today's harder popular metal. They've won many battles and created a great fanbase rocking major music venues such as Harpo's Concert Theatre (opening for Gwar 2002 & Type O Negative 2004 ), and continue shaking up even the smaller night clubs like The Shelter and Token Lounge in MI.
OverExertion formed in 2000 with longtime friends Josh Hooper and Jaimie Guarino, later bringing in Jeff Lewis. Noone could have ever endured the trials of life as OverExertion has. There music really represents feelings of most people who have loved and lost, who are poor or are continually being antagonized and taken advantage of. OverExertion's music represents the cut- throat society we live in today.
